What is aadhaar ?
Aadhaar is a 12 digit individual identification number issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India on behalf of the Government of India.This number will serve as a proof of identity and address, anywhere in India.Any individual, irrespective of age and gender, who is a resident in India and satisfies the verification process laid down by the UIDAI can enrol for Aadhaar.
Each individual needs to enroll only once which is free of cost.Each Aadhaar number will be unique to an individual and will remain valid for life. Aadhaar number will help you provide access to services like banking, mobile phone connections and other Govt and Non-Govt services in due course.

dear Sir,my family has aedlary done the enrollment for Aadhaar card. sir, i have doubt that if any error on card example in name, address, date of birth etc. in case after issuing the Aadhaar card he / she changed the residence in this case how he or she can change the address in card and to whom he can inform ,(many peoples are staying in rental room in city areas, after some time they may change the room, some body buy his/ her own house in case how can we change address in card, how / whom /where to inform this matter.) any change in card many of the normal people are having this doubt. could you please clear this and waiting for your reply.Thanking you,Regards. The ladies operating are talking so rudely, they are not listening to any complaints/amendment on the adhar card, even immediatly after appointment. They thinking themselves as boss of everything. They are commenting on gents operator, if they listen to people.
